Hello! My name is Jordan and I have been a hair stylist since 2007. After taking some time away to raise a family, I am very excited to be back behind the chair. I am starting a new journey in my very own suite located at J Suites, a beauty collective, in Hainesport, New Jersey. I specialize in women’s haircuts, color and styles, as well as sensory friendly haircuts for children. The Dreaming Tree Salon is a place of relaxtion and renewal. What I love most about my suite, is being able to provide a comfortable, peaceful place for clients to receive their hair pampering services. I’m looking forward to meeting you at The Dreaming Tree! -Sensory Friendly Haircuts for Children- Isaac’s Story: My son, Isaac, was diagnosed with autism at age two. Haircuts were always challenging for him because of his sensory sensitivity. Despite my better efforts, trying different techniques, nothing seemed to help make the process easier for him. It was early on that I decided to search for someone who would be able to help. I knew he needed something more to make his haircut experiences less daunting. I was able to meet an Occupational Therapist, who was also a hairstylist. Isaac and I learned how to make his haircuts more comfortable and a lot less frightening. Together, we were able to utilize the tools and suggestions given to us, and in time his haircuts became easier. Isaac has inspired me to help other children who are fearful of haircuts. My goal is to make your child’s haircutting experience tolerable, and even enjoyable!
